Assembling the kit can be done within a day and is perfect for glamping or long term living. Installation for most sizes under 32′ should take less than a day and they are able to withstand high levels of wind & rain.
If you are using our modern yurt as a long term living situation you can run electricity underneath the deck or even through the interior walls.
We use a 4 layer insulation system that almost acts like a protective dome around your unit. We didn’t have to engineer anything crazy; just tried to make what we already had a bit better!
We do not use drywall to insulate our units but these tiny homes stay warm and cozy with even just a small wood stove addition.
